PDQ Computers was formed with one aim: to provide a top quality service to customers of all types. Most companies are ultimately sales driven and consequently compromise service to achieve targets. PDQ Computers are service driven and the Company is owned by ex-engineers who have been in the maintenance arena since IBM first launched the PC.

There is no substitute for experience, and PDQ Computers has a wealth of it. The Directors of the Company have been involved in the service divisions of some of the most established companies in the country. Having not only worked for, but also having started some of these companies’ service centres, the Directors of PDQ Computers found themselves compromised.
   
Restrictions on spending, recruitment and training meant that more and more frequently, as equipment became more diversified, engineers were sent to clients without the knowledge to carry out their task. At PDQ Computers no equipment is taken under cover without the approval of the Directors and whilst our technical team is one of the best in the country, from time to time items appear that would be better covered by the manufacturer. In these circumstances items are sub-contracted and the customer is advised of this at the time of tendering, not once they have failed.

PDQ Computers is passionate about the service it supplies and is at the forefront of quality standards. During 2002 PDQ Computers became the first computer maintenance provider in the UK to achieve the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. Include this with our Microsoft, Compaq, Hewlett Packard and Cisco accreditations and it is clear to see that PDQ Computers take service very seriously.
